I didn't want it for fishing, but as an adjunct to a rucksack for walking/hiking. it's basically a load of pockets joined together by a hi-tech string gilet. It can increase your load capacity by 50% of a medium sized rucksack, whilst distributing the load evenly across your chest. So, does the job for me

Brought this instead of the work tool vests that were advertised, reading the review for the tool vest wasn’t that good tools falling out as you bend or climb Velcro on pockets didn’t last long plus the prices were extortionate. So decided to go for the fishing vest better pockets with zips plenty of places to put small tools especially for my asbestos surveying works sample bags, the quality and the lightness plus plenty of adjustment to fit small or large fat gits excellent also the price and just a handy vest to carry items securely 10 out of 10
