Been fly fishing for a little over 2 years but honestly I go out at least 4 or more days a week in the spring and summer so got some experience in a short time and have tried several different rods and lines out. All I can say is that I'm so glad I tried this brand of line because now I will just buy this stuff! Great price and great quality!! Not one complaint about it. Basically no memory, casting is awesome and super smooth and it stays on top of the water the whole time! Got the blue 7wt first and i just ordered the upgraded 5wt in bright green that has the extra 7' on the tapered end. Can't wait to try this new one out! If you are hesitating to try it, just stop and quit thinking! It's $18. You won't regret it!!!

Un material de calidad, pero la diferencia entre la parte inicial y el resto es casi imperceptible se queda un poco escasa de peso a la hora de lances largos.

As an avid fly fisherman who frequently targets trout in rivers and streams, I recently purchased the Goture Fly Fishing Tapered Leader, and I have found it to be a reliable and versatile addition to my fishing gear. With its freshwater nylon material and availability in various weight sizes, this tapered leader delivers excellent performance and durability on the water. One of the key strengths of the Goture Fly Fishing Tapered Leader is its reliable construction. Made from high-quality freshwater nylon, this leader exhibits excellent knot strength and resistance to abrasion. It can withstand the rigors of casting, handling fish, and navigating through rocky riverbeds without compromising its integrity. This durability ensures a longer lifespan and allows for multiple fishing trips before replacement is necessary. The availability of different weight sizes is a notable advantage of this tapered leader. With a range of options to choose from, I can easily match the leader's weight to the specific fly line and fishing conditions. Whether I'm casting delicate dry flies or heavy nymph rigs, the right weight leader enhances casting accuracy and presentation, ultimately increasing my chances of success. The tapered design of this leader is another highlight. The gradual decrease in diameter from the thicker butt section to the thinner tippet end allows for smoother turnover and delicate presentations. This design helps prevent excessive drag on the water, mimicking natural insect movement and increasing the likelihood of enticing strikes from trout. The gentle taper also facilitates seamless energy transfer during casting, providing better control and accuracy.Additionally, the Goture Fly Fishing Tapered Leader is relatively easy to handle. The leader is supple and flexible, which aids in knot tying and leader-to-tippet connections. The well-designed packaging helps prevent tangling, ensuring quick setup and minimal frustration on the water. However, it's worth noting that while the Goture Tapered Leader performs well in freshwater environments, it may not be as suitable for saltwater fishing, where stronger and more corrosion-resistant materials are typically required. In summary, the Goture Fly Fishing Tapered Leader offers fly fishermen a reliable and versatile option for trout fishing in rivers and streams. Its freshwater nylon material, combined with a range of weight sizes, ensures durability, knot strength, and flexibility for optimal performance. The tapered design promotes accurate casts and delicate presentations, enhancing the overall fishing experience. While primarily designed for freshwater use, this leader excels in its intended applications and proves to be a valuable asset to any fly angler pursuing trout.

I purchased the 3 weight Goture General fly line. This is my first 3 weight line so, I can't say that I know what is normal for a 3wt line. I have 5wt, 6wt, and 8wt, floating, sinking, and sinking tip lines. So I am familiar with other lines. The plastic coating on the line is so thin that you can feel the texture of the braid line under the plastic. It is not smooth like all my other lines. If you run your fingers up and down the line, it has 'ripplestexture' to it.It is very soft and supple, which causes problems. It doesn't have the slight stiffness that my other lines have. It is do supple that it tends to wrap itself around the rod between the guides when casting. When shooting the line, the slack in this supple line, laying at my feet, tends to wrap around the rod between the reel and the first guide. Think of the line as just a piece of wet cotton string and you will get an idea of what happens when you try to cast it. In reality this line is only slightly more stiff than a piece of wet cotton string. Not even close to the feel and stiffness of my other lines. The extra line laying at my feet tends to get tight knots. Other smooth, slick, slightly stiff lines may get a loose tangle in the extra line, but it usually pulls out easily with just a tug or two. This line can get a fairly tight knot that can take a couple of minutes to untangle. This line is not slick at all. It appears to have no 'polish' to it and no special slick coating. It does not slide over your fingers easily when casting and does not slide through the guides as well as my other lines.I have listed less than half of the problems and difficulties that this line causes. I am very disappointed with this line.I will return this line if Amazon will take it back.
