If you use these then expect excess noxious fumes - even if you build them carefully around your bio-flames. They blacken easily & cause more fuel to be needed with negligible heat supplied. Flames look better without these ceramic fiber logs & I have stopped using them. I don't recommend.

Great for a bio ethanol fireplace. These logs and cones come with a "burned effect" on them. They are very light, and they are hollow so they don't weigh much. The bottom part is flat on all the logs, so they don't roll around if you place them with the flat side down. Please note since they are hollow, they don't hold heat for very long and are strictly decorative. They can handle having a direct flame on them, although they will start to glow a bit because of it, but that just makes it look more realistic.PLEASE NOTE that I in my picture I have mixed this set with another set that does NOT have the charred effect on them. My picture is displaying TWO sets of logs and cones so if you want the same amount of firewood as I have in my picture you will need to buy TWO of this product.
